PCAPI 36th National Annual Convention and General Assembly

April 13 to 15, 2016

The Pollution Control Association if the Philippines, Inc. (PCAPI) in coordination with the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), is pleased to inform you that the 36th PCAPI National Annual Convention and General Assembly will be held at the Diversion21 Hotel, Iloilo City on April 13 to 15, 2016.

This year's theme is:

The PCO's Role in Sustainability: Inspiration and Solution

With the threat of climate change, and out country's economic, social and environmental problems, this PCAPI National Annual Convention and General Assembly attempts to bring together environmental practitioners, civil society, local government units (LGUs), technical experts, Pollution Control Officers, and Department of Environment and Natural Resources (Officials) to share their viewpoints, experiences, knowledge, legal updates, and strategies for achieving sustainable development. At the end of the convention, we hope to have expanded our minds' horizons, competencies, and networks of friends in environmental management, LGUs and the DENR. Most of all, we expect to be inspired and our passion sparked to achieve better environmental performance in our respective companies and environs.

We invite you and your Pollution Control Officer/s to attend this convention. We look forward to see yuou on April 13 to 15, 2016.

Basic Course for Newly Designated PCO

January 25 to 29, 2016

 

The Pollution Control Association of the Phils., Inc. (PCAPI) National, in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is undertaking a continuous training for Basic Course for Newly Designated PCO. This training program is recognized by DENR-EMB.

Completion of the 40-hours training, supported by a Certificate of Completion will be distributed at the end of the training course, of which shall be used for your PCO accreditation which is provided under Section 8, DENR Administrative Order No. 2014-02.

The Basic PCO Training Course is scheduled tentatively on January 25 to 29, 2016 from 8am to 5pm (5 days) at the PCAPI Training Room, Cityland Pioneer, Pioneer Street, Mandaluyong City. Participants will be limited up to forty five (45) only. Reservations, therefore, will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

The training fee is P10,000 per participant for non-institutional members and P9,000 per participant for institutional members; inclusive of meals, cd presentations and Certificate of Attendance. Deadline for reservations is on January 22, 2016. Please settle your training fees on or before January 25, 2016.

8 Hours Environmental Training for Managing Heads

The Pollution Control Association of the Phils., Inc. (PCAPI) National, in coordination with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is undertaking a continuous training for 8 Hours Environmental Training for Managing Heads . This training program is recognized by DENR-EMB.

Completion of the 8-hours training, supported by a Certificate of Completion will be distributed at the end of the training course, of which shall be used for your PCO accreditation which is provided under Section 8, DENR Administrative Order No. 2014-02.

The 8 Hours Environmental Training for Managing Heads is scheduled on February 23, 2016 from 8am to 5pm (1 day). Venue will be at Astoria Plaza Hotel - Ortigas located at 15 J. Escriva Drive, Ortigas Business District, Pasig City. Participants will be limited up to fifty (50) only. Reservations, therefore, will be on a first-come-first-served basis.

The training fee is P4,500 per participant for non-institutional members and P4,000 per participant for institutional members; inclusive of meals, handouts and Certificate of Attendance. Deadline for reservations is on February 19, 2016. Please settle your training fees on or before February 23, 2016 .
